Damodar Rao Yampavali

Founder, Director and System Architect

Founder of SANSI RF and Communication Systems and an accomplished Electronics System Architect with over 21 years of diverse experience across industry, academia, and research. Recognized for pioneering contributions in RF Communication, Satellite Communication, RF over Fiber, Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics, and defense applications.

Over the career, more than 80 projects of significant value have been successfully delivered, including Broadband Tactical Radios, VLF Receivers, and bidirectional telemetry systems for biomedical implantable devices.

Played a major role in the Indian Bionic Ear (auditory prosthetic device) project, leading the design and development of a bidirectional data and power transcutaneous link, an 8-channel CIS algorithm, and a current stimulator. Currently driving the development of a 128 Γ— 128 array retinal prosthetic device, pushing the boundaries of biomedical engineering and advanced prosthetic technologies.

With a hands-on and multidisciplinary approach, impactful solutions have been created for defense, aerospace, biomedical, and consumer industries.

Committed to excellence, leadership, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving, with a proven track record across high-impact domains. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Instrumentation at GITAM University, while continuing to advance cutting-edge technologies in prosthetics and medical electronics.
